01

What Priority Assistance is

Priority Assistance is a service for people who have, or who live with someone who has, a diagnosed life-threatening medical condition where the risk of a phone service failing could put their life at risk. Priority Assistance customers receive faster connection and fault repair for a standard telephone service.

02

LCorp IT does not offer Priority Assistance

LCorp IT does not offer Priority Assistance on any of our services. Our internet, mobile and Teams Phone services are not suitable for people who require Priority Assistance, because they depend on power, internet connectivity and third-party networks and cannot be prioritised for repair.

03

If you need Priority Assistance

Telstra is required by law to offer Priority Assistance to eligible customers. If you or someone at your premises has a life-threatening medical condition, you should obtain a standard telephone service from Telstra with Priority Assistance. Information is available at telstra.com.au/priority-assistance or by calling Telstra on 13 22 00.

We will tell you this before you sign up for a service with us, and it is stated in our service agreements and Critical Information Summaries.

04

Emergency calls on our services

Calls to 000 on internet-based phone services (including Teams Phone) depend on power at your premises and a working internet connection. If either is unavailable, you will not be able to call 000 from that service. Keep a mobile phone available for emergency calls.
